Biography
As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I focus on estate and legacy strategies through financial analysis, estate considerations, and gift planning to help you achieve your personal financial goals, while also having a positive impact on your community. Working closely with you and your CPA, attorney and other professionals, I can help determine the most appropriate financial strategy for you and your family.
I also help nonprofit organizations with their planned giving efforts as well as helping educate donors on strategies that compliment their larger estate plan and leaving gifts that are impactful.
I began my career in the financial services industry in 1996. I moved to Mount Dora, Florida and joined Edward Jones in 2012, and I'm a limited partner with the firm. I served in the United States Air Force as an F-16 crew chief during the Gulf War. My military background taught me discipline, which is essential to successful investing. After sitting down to discuss your unique goals and financial situation, we can develop a financial strategy tailored to your needs and then work together to help ensure you remain on track to meet your long-term and philanthropic giving goals.
I have been active in business and civic affairs for many years. I currently serve as vice president of the Lake County Sheriff's Charities. I also work with the Florida Association of School Resource Officers, The Kiwanis Club of Mount Dora, Lake Cares Food Pantry, The Library Collective, and many more organizations.
My branch office administrator, Cathy Trapp, has been with Edward Jones since 2006 and is dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service possible. Please do not hesitate to call her with questions concerning your statement, dividends, stock certificates or your account in general. Cathy became a limited partner with Edward Jones in 2015.
We provide highly personalized service. All aspects of our business are aligned to help us better understand and meet our clients’ unique goals and needs.
I live in Mount Dora with my wife, Christine Williams Stewart, Esq., vice president of Pruett-Williams Insurance, who is a Mount Dora native, and our rescue husky, Apollo.
